CFS + Lifespan: Celebrating Our First Year Together
While Community First and LifeSpan have collectively celebrated more than 175 anniversaries, today marks the first anniversary that we celebrate TOGETHER.
From the start, we recognized that uniting our missions would be good for both companies, our clients, and our community. In aligning organizations, we aimed to expand the continuum of support and community resources throughout Butler County and beyond, while leveraging Community First’s shared service teams to support growth.
While we remain focused on the future, it is important to take a moment to reflect on this past year and recognize the LifeSpan team’s achievements:
- Elderly Services Program processed 1,183 new admissions, increasing total census by 5.2%
- School Based Support Services increased contracted hours with Madison School District AND expanded districts served to include Immanuel Lutheran
- Guardianship established new contract with Hamilton County Board of Developmental Disabilities expanding services into Hamilton County
- Representative Payee processed 92 applications, increasing client census by 5.5%
- Coaching & Financial Wellness increased contracts for 2 business partners

CFS Celebrates The Launch of Foundations Counseling
Community First is proud to launch Foundations Counseling. Foundations will provide boutique behavioral health services specializing in relationship, parenting, workplace and Employee Assistance (EAP) issues.
Foundations Counseling will be led by Director John Guliano, who founded Hamilton’s Cornerstone Counseling & Consulting Services in 2012. John and his team bring an outstanding reputation for care, strong business strategy, and diverse mix of private pay and managed care clients. Foundations Counseling complements the services provided throughout Community First, and will increase our collective strength as one of the area’s largest providers of behavioral health services.
We would like to thank John, and the entire Foundations Team for working so diligently to ensure a seamless and successful transition. We are excited to work together to support the continued growth of Foundations Counseling, expanding our services to more clients in need.
