Executive Team

Brett Kirkpatrick - President & Chief Executive Officer

Brett Kirkpatrick Brett is a proven leader with more than 20 years of progressive experience in strategic planning, innovative program expansion, and management of operations throughout the healthcare continuum. He is passionate about developing strong cultures that promote quality, growth and successful outcomes. Brett is passionate about the mission of Community First and looking forward to continuing the pursuit of innovative healthcare solutions.

His healthcare and leadership expertise, commitment to quality, and passion for serving people make him uniquely qualified to assume the leadership role of the organization. 




Dick Bower - Executive Vice President of Construction & Facilities

Dick Bower

Dick oversees construction initiatives from start to finish and manages all ongoing maintenance initiatives for Community First. Dick has managed over $60 million in project infrastructure and has remarkably completed all projects on time and within budget. Dick adds that a certain level of perfectionism comes with the territory, especially when supervising the construction of many high-level projects.

Patty Fawns - Corporate Executive Assistant

Patty Fawns

Patty began her career with Community First over 20 years ago with the Colonial Foundation. In her current role, she ensures that projects move forward on schedule and in an organized manner. She also manages the front desk personnel at the Community First Resource Center. With a passion and talent for helping others, Patty enjoys working with the Community First Staff and utilizing her creative skills to help plan employee and community activities.

Mark Zoellner - Chief Financial Officer

Mark Zoellner

Mark provides leadership for financial strategies for Community First. His career spans over 35 years in financial management roles for leading healthcare providers in the Cincinnati-Dayton area. Mark prides himself on being part of a leadership team that has propelled the organization forward through significant change in the past few years. Mark says that it’s the friendly people and the positive mission-driven organization that keep him coming back for more every day. 

Senior Team

Erin Day - Vice President of Community Behavioral Health

Erin Day

Erin is responsible for the strategic vision and daily management and operations of Community Behavioral Health. She ensures that high quality of care is provided for all behavioral health patients including medication management, substance abuse care, peer support services, and much more. She brings over 15 years of behavioral health direct and supervisory service and is a level three Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and trained in the Ohio Risk Assessment System.


Kelley Lawrence - Vice President of Health Services

Kelley Lawrence

Kelley is the Vice President of Health Services for Community First Solutions. Kelley is responsible for overseeing clinical support teams and maintaining licensures for Berkeley Square, Westover, and Jamestowne.  Kelley began her career as a rehabilitation social worker and was inspired to obtain her administrator’s license. Kelley has been an administrator for over 15 years.


Danielle Webb - Vice President of Marketing & Community Relations


Danielle WebbIn Danielle’s tenure with Community First, she has worked with every facet of the organization. Her role is focused on maintaining strong brand presence & community connectivity, maximizing cross-marketing opportunities, and effectively integrating internal and external communication initiatives. She assesses each new business opportunity to identify how best to meet goals: designing, implementing, and evaluating dynamic marketing strategies for the organization. She also oversees the Development Team & The Coach House Tavern & Grille

Amy Wylie - Vice President of Community Based Services

Amy Wylie

Amy first joined Community First as the Director of Colonial at Home and immediately and substantially impacted the operations of the organization. As Vice President of Community-Based Services, Amy is responsible for all services focused on keeping older adults active and independent in their own homes including Home Care, Pharmacy, Transportation, Culinary Services, Elements Wellness Centers.  She also oversees Colonial Schools.
