Our Board of Directors offers valuable leadership that ensures Community First responds to local needs and serves as an effective steward of services and resources.
Executive Leadership Team
Brett Kirkpatrick - President & Chief Executive Officer
Brett is a proven leader with more than 20 years of progressive experience in strategic planning, innovative program expansion, and leadership of operations throughout the healthcare continuum. He is passionate about developing strong cultures that promote quality, growth and successful outcomes.
Prior to joining Community First, Brett held leadership roles with the TriHealth system, serving most recently as Senior Executive for TriHealth’s McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital and Bethesda Butler Hospital. There he developed a market strategy and led the integration of two of the newest hospitals into the TriHealth system. In his tenure with TriHealth, Brett also led the Senior Services division and later became the Executive Director of Ambulatory Services before assisting with the integration of TriHealth’s Physician Partner network. Brett served as a Nursing Home Administrator for both Deaconess Long Term Care and HCR ManorCare prior to joining TriHealth.
Brett is an active community leader serving on the Greater Hamilton Chamber of Commerce Board of Trustees, Hamilton Vision Commission Advisory Board and the Rotary Club of Hamilton.
He hold an M.S. in Organizational Leadership from Mount Saint Joseph University and a B.S. in Health Services Administration from University of Cincinnati.
Brian Krause - Chief Financial Officer
With more than 20 years of progressive advancement as a strategic financial leader, Brian brings considerable experience to support the financial leadership of our growing organization. Brian has expertise in all aspects of healthcare finance, including forecasting, budgeting, revenue cycle, and debt/capital planning.
Stacey Andrews - Director of Human Resources
With more than 20 years in the HR field, Stacey is responsible for overseeing human resources for the entire organization including recruitment, new employee onboarding, employee relations, employee benefits, and payroll. Stacey holds PHR and SHRM-CP certifications.
Dick Bower - Executive Vice President of Construction & Facilities
Dick oversees construction initiatives from start to finish and manages all ongoing maintenance initiatives for Community First. Dick has managed over $80 million in project infrastructure and has remarkably completed all projects on time and within budget.
Erin Day - Vice President of Community Behavioral Health
Erin is responsible for the strategic vision and daily management and operations of Community Behavioral Health. She ensures that high quality of care is provided for all behavioral health patients including medication management, substance abuse care, peer support services, and much more. She brings over 15 years of behavioral health direct and supervisory service and is a level three Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and trained in the Ohio Risk Assessment System.
Kelley Lawrence - Vice President of Health Services
Kelley is responsible for overseeing the operations of Berkeley Square, Westover and Jamestowne, including all health services, hospitality and sales. Kelley began her career as a rehabilitation social worker and was inspired to obtain her administrator’s license. Kelley has been an administrator for 15 years.
Danielle Webb - Vice President of Marketing & Community Relations

Danielle joined Community First in 2005, managing marketing and communication for the Continuing Care Retirement Communities of Berkeley Square and Westover. She has played a lead role in developing brands and managing communication through Community First’s continued growth. Danielle’s role is focused on maintaining strong brand presence & community connectivity, developing and implementing dynamic marketing strategies, and effectively integrating internal and external communication initiatives. She also oversees Fundraising & Development, as well as the operations of The Coach House Tavern & Grille.
Amy Wylie - Vice President of Community Based Services
Amy first joined Community First as the Director of Colonial at Home and immediately and substantially impacted the operations of the organization. As Vice President of Community-Based Services, Amy is responsible for all services focused on keeping older adults active and independent in their own homes including Home Care, Pharmacy, Transportation, Culinary Services, LifeSpan and Elements Wellness Centers. She also oversees Colonial Schools.
Patty Fawns - Corporate Executive Assistant
Patty began her career with Community First over 20 years ago with the Colonial Foundation. In her current role, she ensures that projects move forward on schedule and in an organized manner. She also manages the front desk personnel at the Community First Resource Center. With a passion and talent for helping others, Patty enjoys working with the Community First Staff and utilizing her creative skills to help plan employee and community activities.
